Cybersecurity audit… and more!
Information system security is a crucial aspect of a company’s business integrity. Small and medium-sized organizations are prime targets for malicious actors because they are less equipped to deal with them and are therefore more vulnerable [1].
Some figures:
Since 2019, digital attacks have increased by 40%, reaching 278,000 cases in 2023 [2]. The majority of these attacks are property crimes: fraud, misappropriation of payment methods, offenses causing financial loss, etc.
In 2024, microbusinesses and SMEs experienced a 25% increase in cyberattacks. In 2025, 44% of microbusinesses and SMEs considered themselves highly exposed to cyber threats, compared to 38% a year earlier. [3]
This is an encouraging figure, linked to the awareness-raising and support provided by ANSSI and the National Gendarmerie (the launch of the 17Cyber platform in December 2024).
However, 80% of the companies consider their preparedness insufficient, citing, above all, the lack of appropriate support. With the arrival of NIS2 (Network and Information Security 2), a European Union directive announced several years ago, some companies are unsure of the extent of the defenses they will need to put in place.
This is why APEX solutions, a SME, used the Cyber Aid service proposed by the ANSSI to carry out an initial diagnosis and take the essential actions identified. These actions are currently being finalized, and APEX Solutions would like to share its experience with other SMEs (initially), particularly local ones.

- carry out an initial diagnosis,
- implement the resulting actions, including targeted awareness-raising initiatives and the implementation of an IT governance policy,
- and monitor the new IT organization that has been adopted.
APEX solutions can therefore work on your corporate IT systems, but also advise you on your industrial IT systems (automation, machines, etc.), thanks to the President’s experience in industrial system certification in a large company (more than 150 certifications of class 1, 2, and 3 equipments according to the ANSSI classification).
One of APEX Solutions’ priority objectives for 2026 is to create a network infrastructure that is easy to administer and deploy in other SMEs.
