Setting up partnership projects
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944) said, “To be a man is to feel that you are helping to build the world by laying a stone”. We know from experience that the most innovative solutions often come from bringing ideas together from very different backgrounds. The challenge is to build a team where each member can contribute the right stone to the common construction.
APEX solutions recognizes that setting up a collaborative project requires:
- humility, because you have to recognize that you can’t do everything (well) on your own, and look for the best skills wherever they are,
- trust, because each partner in the project can only give its best if it has real autonomy and its own responsibilities,
- leadership, to make sure that the whole team shares a common vision, to overcome relational challenges and to stay on track.
