Involving young people with a passion for science in the field of risk management

APEX solutions is a private research and development laboratory whose main mission is to provide solutions in the field of risk management.

We aim to conduct our R&D activities in this field in a way that values teamwork and the human dimension. It is in this context that we would like to welcome young people with a passion for the scientific and technical world.

We believe that young people are an asset to the company’s growth, thanks to their dynamism, their desire to improve and their ability to learn.

Our commitment is to encourage the involvement of young people within APEX solutions, for a win-win investment. That’s why this year we joined the #1jeune1solution scheme proposed by the government in November 2020.

In 2021 we welcomed two engineering school interns (IMT Mines Alès), Éliette and Valentin, as well as an INSA Toulouse intern, Aymeric. This internship opportunity will enable them to develop new skills, which will be essential when they enter the workforce. Our three trainees are working on themes at the heart of APEX solutions’ expertise, more specifically on modeling intrusions into critical infrastructures, on the effects of explosions in tunnel networks, and on calculating the aerodynamic coefficients of projectiles. The results of their work will be published at the end of their internship.

In addition, we plan to recruit two young people on permanent contracts between now and the end of 2021: a Python developer who has just left school or already has some initial professional experience (job offer) and a young doctor on completion of his thesis (due in December 2021), in order to be able to develop the company.

Once again, the aim is to transfer expertise to these young recruits, so that in the short/medium term they can manage complete projects and develop their own ideas.
